Graduate school rant
Why do graduate schools have interview “weekends” that go from Wednesday - Saturday or Thursday - Sunday? Don’t they know I’m also a full time student who is expected to complete his honors thesis by the end of the semester and wants to graduate summa cum laude? Furthermore, why do graduate schools neglect to tell me about the dates of these weekends until the last minute and then expect me to book a flight within 24-hours?
How to NOT get a date
So today (technically yesterday) I decided to be rather bold. There was this cute guy working at the Starbucks in my town and I wanted to give him my number. So I did! I approached him and said, “I know this is really forward but I think you’re cute and wanted to give you my number.” Here’s how this encounter went.
